AUTISM

Autism spectrum disorder is a brain development disorder that affects the way a person perceives and connects with others, leading to problems with social interaction and communication. The disorder also includes limited and repetitive patterns of behavior. Autism spectrum disorders include conditions that were previously thought to be separate: autism, Asperger’s syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder, and an unspecified form of pervasive developmental disorder.
